Triple Play Social Recreation
While physical fitness and healthy eating
habits (the other 2 components of Triple
Play) are certainly important parts of
developing a healthy lifestyle, BGCA also
believes that a comprehensive social
recreation program is essential to the
well-being of our Club members. The
soul component helps Club members
strengthen character and reinforce positive
behavior with activities designed to improve
confidence and develop interpersonal skills.

Healthy Habits
The mind component of Triple Play is a
national program which takes a holistic
approach to educating boys and girls
about good nutrition, making physical
fitness a daily practice and developing
individual strengths and good character.
In addition to components for the mind
and body, the Triple Play program gets at
the soul of the Club experience – the
gamesroom. Each Mind, Body and Soul
program component can stand alone; yet
integrating them allows Club members to
reap more powerful, lifelong benefits.

world. They will learn of the international
sports origins, traditions and rules. Then,
they’ll have the opportunity to play and
practice the games they’ve learned
about—so come prepared to have play
and have fun! For the final class, all the
children will play in a round-robin-style
tournament and get to play all the games
they’ve learned about—Rugby, Lacrosse,
