The leadership
club for teenagers called the Keystone
Club was awarded two national gold awards from
Boys & Girls Club of America for Unity
and Outreach. The Keystone Club also hosted
our first Family Dinner Night in collaboration
with the Health and Wellness Committee
at Locust Valley School District and had
over 180 kids and parents attend. |

in this year’s Boys & Girls
Clubs Day for Kids event. |

The Club’s 41st
Annual Clothing Sale was a tremendous
success raising over $119,000. |

The Club was awarded the Northeast
Regional Vision for Unity Award representing
outstanding diversity in the workplace
from Boys & Girls Club of America. |

The Club was awarded the national
bronze Youth for Unity Award from
Boys & Girls Club of America for
its multicultural talent show and exhibition. |

8 year old Laura Betancort and
10 year old Valerie Jimenez, were
published in Boys & Girls
Clubs of America’s first Diversity
Book called “Making One Good World:
Kids Write About Diversity." |

Garcia, was selected to
represent the Club as Youth
of the Year and also was the recipient
of an $8,000 college scholarship. |

than 200 volunteers contributed
their time, talent and efforts as Board
members, on special event committees,
clothing sale volunteers, coaches, mentors
and instructors. We are extremely grateful
to all of you for your service to the
children of our community. |

The Club received the Better Business Bureau's "Charity Seal of Approval" for meeting 20 standards for charity accountability. |
