Sailing Camp Session I:

Get together with your friends for a week of sailing adventures, at The WaterFront Center. You will have half-days of hands-on sailing lessons with an instructor on a comfortable 23' sailboat. Day 5 of your week will culminate with a voyage on the Christeen, a fully restored 1883 Oyster Sloop that has been designated as a national historic landmark. This fun, learn to sail program is based on the US Sailing Basic Keelboat curriculum. Students learn about wind awareness, safety and emergency procedures, how to rig the boat, trim sails, steer, and how to leave from and return to a mooring.
